Cathy O’Dowd, co-founder of the ASTRAIA Female Leadership Foundation, and her team set out on the “Mazeno Ridge 2012 Expedition” to Mount Nanga Parbat this morning. Nanga Parbat is considered as the second most difficult mountain after the K2 and several mountaineers already failed in their attempt to conquer it. Cathy O’Dowd is going to approach the mountain via the Mazeno Ridge, the longest ridge in the world – an undertaking that up to no one ever succeeded in. If you want to be kept up-to-date in this exciting journey, just follow her on her Mazeno Ridge blog or via twitter (@CathyODowd) on our website. May her do well on her remarkable project!
